Under the leadership of Professor Barthelmes, the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Zurich and University Hospital Zurich offers comprehensive care for ophthalmic conditions. Our research focusses on retinal conditions and we study them in basic, translational and clinical research projects. We collaborate with partners in various projects around the globe.

Role in I-SCREEN

Our involvement in the I-SCREEN project includes recruiting suitable patients and subsequently conducting in-vivo imaging procedures according to the study protocol.
